You’re only a few moments away from creating a meaningful way for your family, friends and workmates to show their thanks and support to Australia’s Service Personnel.
Follow the simple steps below and you’re away.
Thank you so much for making the effort to show your support. It will mean the world to those who have done so much for us all.
Did you know that young serving men are twice as likely to take their own life post service? Unemployment, social isolation and uncertainty in transition are considered to be leading risk factors in elevating suicide risk.*
Soldier On is calling on the community, corporate Australia and Government to be a Force 4 Good this April and give back to those who gave so much to their country.
Soldier On aims to provide assistance and opportunities for meaningful employment, a sense of purpose and connection to the community and others for our service personnel and their families.
Of the 5000 – 6000 Defence members who transition each year, 1 in 5 will need DVA assistance. Even more will see their transition as a significant adverse life event which can increase risk around suicide and self harm. Common transition issues include relocation and loss of support networks; impacts on the family bond due to changed living conditions; a loss of purpose during and after transition; psychological transition from a “warrior” to a “civilian”.
Don't let our service personnel become another statistic. Be a force for good for those who have been a force for good for their country.

TIPS ON HOW TO RAISE MONEY
Running a fundraiser is only limited by your imagination – you can hold a barbeque, have a trivia night, invite friends and family to a meal, have a ‘casual day’ at work, shave your head, sell merchandise or do a physical challenge. The most important thing is to have fun.

By fundraising, you are helping Soldier On assist those who serve and protect our Nation and their families. Soldier On is focused on helping to secure the futures for all those who have served and continue serving our nation. We recognise that this service goes beyond the ADF uniform and reaches into our National Security Agencies.
On 10 October 2017, Soldier On extended our support services to all those service personnel from national security agencies who have served, and continue to serve, side by side with the ADF. This includes individuals, and their families, from Australian Federal Police, Australian Border Force, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and other security agencies.
Securing and protecting Australia in complex environments, domestically and globally, requires integrated multiagency and multidisciplinary teams of national security agency service personnel to work side by side, both on and offshore, and this should be no different at home.
We support those who serve today, tomorrow and into the future.
