Ronnie's 239k Challenge

By Ronnie Hobbs

I spent 12 years in the Australian Army & served in East Timor twice. Once in 1999 & again in 2003.

Since i first deployed to East Timor in 1999 we have lost 46 soldiers in combat compared to now over 350 vetrens taking their own life due to the effects of PTSD. I hope I can not only raise money to support those who suffer with PTSD, I can also raise the awareness of those out there who need a hand & it's ok to ask for assistance.

At the end of September I'll be stepping off for a 239km run from Caversham in Perth to Jurien Bay to assist Soldier On.

Please jump on board & support me .

Kind Regards

Ronnie Hobbs

Your an inspiration to us all Hobbsy, as we know mate PTSD is a debilitating disorder that when left unchecked ruins lives. Thankyou mate for getting up and helping to raise awareness, so we can try and recognise when our mates are in their darkest hours and in need of our help. Come on guys get around this legend and not stop here.

Thanks for raising awareness of PTSD Ronnie. It doesn 't matter if it originates in the family home or on the battlefield it 's effects are just as lethal. Much more needs to be done to help people cope. Travel well. M
