At McLean Delmo Bentleys, we are taking some new initiatives to connect with the passions of our people and our community. James Hyett is a partner in our Business Services Team, but outside of the office he is a Major in the Australian Army Reserve. In the lead up to ANZAC Day, we would like to invite you to a breakfast hosted by Major Hyett for our people and our clients to promote awareness of the work of Soldier On.
Soldier On supports those who have served by focusing on their physical and mental health, their family, their community, and their future. 72,000 Australians have served in the Australian Defence Force since 1990, and thousands will be affected by their service, be it physically or psychologically. Soldier On provides a suite of services and access to partner organisations to meet the needs of our wounded so that they can start their journey on their road to recovery.
We will be joined by Solomon Hanks, Business Development Manager, Victoria, Soldier On, who will share insights into the work the organisation does. Captain Steven Towner of the Australian Regular Army will speak about his deployment experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the challenges faced by our serving men and women when they return from deployment to integrate back into their families and communities.
We request that our guests make a tax deductible donation to Soldier On in support of their work.
