We sometimes forget the commitment and sacrifices that members of Defence and their families make to ensure the security and safety of the citizens of Australia and the region. Returning to civilian life can be just as tough and requires resources and money to ensure the transition is as stress free as possible.
We owe our security to the Service men and women of Australia. In a small way, with your help, would like help secure their future.
I've decided to turn my challenge of Climbing Kilimanjaro into an opportunity to support this wonderful cause. Standing at 5895 meters high, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world.
I aim to raise $1 for every meter climbed - with the goal of reaching a total of $5895. This may be the toughest thing I've done in a while, but the opportunity of supporting a fantastic cause will provide me with all the motivation I need.
The Climb starts on the 9th July and ends on the 15th July.
100% of monies collected will be donated to Soldier On. Please help to support Soldier On's mission of helping our Service men and women.
